By making this booking you are entering into an agreement with us, so please read our terms and conditions below.
The prices shown are on a bed and breakfast basis. We offer either a continental or full English breakfast. Any Vegetarian, Dietary or Allergy requests can be accommodated, but please inform us of your requirements in advance.
Booking Confirmation & Deposits
By making a booking, the agreement between us becomes a legal contract and you are deemed to have accepted to our terms and conditions. All bookings require a non-refundable deposit (cost of the first night of your stay) with the balance being paid on arrival.
Cancellation of booking
Should your travel arrangements change you should inform us as soon as possible, in order to give us the opportunity to try to reallocate the room(s).
If you need to cancel the booking due to adverse weather conditions, or exceptional family circumstances, we are happy to transfer your booking to another date if at all possible.
Cancellations must be made no later than 48hrs before scheduled arrival date otherwise, in addition to your non-refundable deposit, we reserve the right to charge you fully for your room, for the total period booked.
Any outstanding balance payment should be made on arrival by either cash, or credit / debit card.
Non-availability of Accommodation
We would only cancel your stay if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would however attempt to find you alternative accommodation, but if we were unable to find suitable accommodation our liability would not extend beyond this point. However, we would of course refund any payments already made in full.
Sorry, we do not allow pets inside the house or on the property under any circumstances (except service dogs).
Acceptance of Children
We are unable to accommodate children below the age of 16 at Molehill Barns B&B.
Your accommodation will be available to you from 4.00pm on the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged. We may not be able to accommodate you if you arrive earlier than the agreed time as we will be busy preparing your room(s). However, you may drop off your bags, pay for your stay and collect your room keys at an earlier time by prior arrangement.
It would be much appreciated if you could notify us of your estimated time of arrival (a telephone call on the day before or morning of arrival is fine).
Late arrival procedure
Please ensure you contact us to let us know if you will be arriving later than 8.00pm, and inform us of your new estimated time of arrival. We do not normally accept guests after 10.00pm.
The number of persons occupying the room(s) must not exceed the maximum number stated on the booking, any additional guests will be charged at the full daily rate.
We respectfully remind guests that Molehill Barns Bed & Breakfast offers bed and breakfast and is NOT a hotel. Therefore, please vacate your room by 10.30am, unless agreed by prior arrangement.
If you need to return to your room between 11.00am and 4.00pm to collect belongings please let us know in advance, as the house is locked between those times during the day.
Eating food in the rooms is not permitted. You have full use of both the kitchen and dining areas.
This is to be respected at all times. We accept that drinks may be consumed in the rooms but care should be taken to avoid spillage etc.
Molehill Barns is a set in a small enclave of private homes. Excessive noise or partying will not be tolerated and will result in ejection from the property.
Consideration must also be given to other house guests with regards to excessive noise.
In accordance with British Law there is a no smoking policy in force at Molehill Barns, but smoking in the garden is permitted. If guests are found to be smoking anywhere in the house they will be asked to vacate the premises and forfeit any monies paid. This is non-negotiable.
Damages and Breakages
Please take care when staying in our Bed & Breakfast. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. We respectfully ask that you do report any incidents when they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may charge you for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant.
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
Any data collected during the course of this booking will be stored on our computer(s). With your permission we may from time to time contact you about promotions and offers. We will not share your details with any third party.
WIFI Internet facilities are provided throughout the property by third party suppliers. Guests acknowledge that there may be disruption to the connection without prior notice and we shall not be liable whatsoever for any disruption, loss of data, viruses etc. Guests further undertake not to use the facility for any fraudulent purpose or in connection with any criminal offence and in contravention of any licence and will indemnify us against any claim, demand, suit, proceeding or prosecution arising therefrom.
The property generally has reasonable internet access, but Fibre optic Broadband is not currently available and we therefore respectfully ask guests to avoid downloading large content services such as audio and video files, as well as participating in online games. We operate a fair usage policy for internet access and reserve the right to restrict or withdraw internet access in situations of excessive download usage. Please respect this policy for the benefit of all guests.
Whilst we take reasonable steps to ensure the security of the Service and to prevent unlawful access to information transmitted or received using the Service, we do not guarantee the security of the information which you may transmit or receive using the Service or located on any equipment utilising the Service and you accept that it is your responsibility to protect your information and have adequate security (in terms of equipment and procedures) to ensure the security, integrity and confidentiality of your information and data.
